Triglav via Križ, Stenar, Bovški Gamsovec, Plamenice and back via Prag
Kraljevska pot na kraljevsko goro, ki obide dolino Vrat. Začne se dokaj enostavno s potjo na Kriż, nadaljuje s Stenarjem, nato pa postaja vedno teżja. Najprej nekaj jeklenic in klinov na Bovški Gamsovec, nato pa grande finale čez Plamenice. Dolga, naporna, tehnično zelo zahtevna, vendar izjemno lepa tura. Po celotni poti se srečuje kozoroge. Še posebej pod Kriżem in Stenarjem ter od Bovškega Gamsovca proti Luknji. Zaradi gneče na Triglavu priporočam med tednom po koncu visoke sezone.
Parkiraš lahko v Vratih - malo pred Aljaževim domom. Parkirnino plačaš s kartico ob odhodu iz doline Vrat.
Royal path to the highest mountain in Slovenia - round trip around Vrata Valley. It starts with a relatively easy ascent to Križ, continues to Stenar, and then it becomes more and more difficult. First you'll encounter some cables and pegs towards the peak called Bovški Gamsovec, and then there's the grand finale - Triglav via Plamenice. Long, exhausting, very technically demanding, but also gorgeous route. You'll be encountering ibexes and chamois from beginning until the end. Especially below the Križ and Stenar, and from Bovški Gamsovec towards Luknja. Due to crazy crowd levels, I suggest taking this path on a weekday after the high season.
You can park in Vrata Valley - slightly before Aljažev dom v Vratih. You pay the parking fee before leaving the Vrata Valley; you can pay with a card.
Warnings
- This route is insanely long and technically difficult!
- It's suitable only for people with mountaineering experience!
- Don't go there if you're prone to vertigo!
