Bovški Gamsovec

If you'd like to encounter ibexes, then this route is a great choice. You'll need to conquer steep climbs, but you'll be rewarded with great views. From the peak, you have one of the best views of Triglav's northern wall. You can praise its majesty almost throughout the whole ascent. In the upper part, you'll need to use cables and pegs in some sections. On the way down, you'll slide here and there when descending through scree from Luknja. Make sure to keep your steps sturdy!

You can park in Vrata Valley, but you need to be there at least one hour before sunrise to get a spot. You can pay for parking with a card when leaving the valley.
