Planina Blato - Mala Tičarica - Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih
Triglav Lakes - who wouldn't want to go there? The path from Planina Blato is made for trail running. Ascents, descents, and long turns - all of them in the most spectacular setting imaginable. It's certainly not the "Personal record" route - the surroundings are simply too stunning! Planina Dedno polje is really an eye-catcher. You'll run by beautiful shepherds' cottages. While you're running among mountain pines, you might encounter black grouse. From Mala Tičarica you'll have a great view towards Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih that's standing amongst the larches. To make it even more exciting, you'll need to use a short cable when passing Štapce. You might even encounter chamois observing your every step.
You need to pay for parking when you exit from Planina Blato. I suggest carrying coins, small banknotes, and a card with you, as cashiers often work in limited mode (e.g., no cards).
There are many people on this trail during the summer months - it can be quite challenging to park. That's why I suggest that you either visit in autumn or be there at least 45 minutes before sunrise.
Warnings
There's a short section with cable at Štapce. Make sure to wear trail-running or hiking shoes!
